This is me just hours after being born. Thankfully being so small the delivery didn't take long at all. Still I was a little upset and cried a bit before they took me away to the NICU. Once in the NICU they stuck all sorts of probes all over me and stuck a tube up my nose to help me breath.I was a pretty good size for my age (27 weeks +3 days). I weighted 2lbs. and 8ozs. (1145 grams) and was 14 inches long.
I was a little red and was puffy and they tell me that I'll be losing weight over the next few days. They put me in this box they call and isolet and are keeping me very warm.
And no I don't think my arms are unusually long!
