Day 2

Today the doctors decided to try and remove the ventilator that was helping me breath. They say it can be bad for my lungs to be on it for too long. Well I did my best and worked really hard but at 5am they had to put the ventilator back on. They had to stuff that tube down my nose again which was very uncomfortable. Hopefully next time they take it off we can keep it off.

They also keep stuffing this green soother in my mouth. I don't like it much and keep spitting it out.

Do I look any bigger?

Day 1

This is me just hours after being born. Thankfully being so small the delivery didn't take long at all. Still I was a little upset and cried a bit before they took me away to the NICU. Once in the NICU they stuck all sorts of probes all over me and stuck a tube up my nose to help me breath.

I was a pretty good size for my age (27 weeks +3 days). I weighted 2lbs. and 8ozs. (1145 grams) and was 14 inches long.

I was a little red and was puffy and they tell me that I'll be losing weight over the next few days. They put me in this box they call and isolet and are keeping me very warm.

And no I don't think my arms are unusually long!
