Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter. The car ride was a breeze. I was comfy and happy the whole way both ways much to Mom and Dad's pleasure! All my cousins were healthy so we all got to see each other. The weekend went really fast but we had fun despite the Sens loss to the Leafs. Sunday night we went to see Grandma Hawley for another great Easter dinner.

I'm a big boy now!

We are heading to Barrie tomorrow for Easter and Mom and Dad picked up my new big boy car seat for the ride. I love it! We'll see how I feel about it after 5 hours but for 2 minutes in the house it's super comfy! I am so excited to see my Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles and cousins tomorrow.

Happy Easter everyone! This time last year I was in the NICU getting my foot prints made by the nurses.

All I want to do is stand, stand, stand!

Well now that I am pulling myself up and climbing stairs I'm seeing the world from a whole new vantage point. I've had my fair share of wipe outs but that's not going to stop me! I guess I'm not as stable as I think I am, but I'm getting there. I am moving between furniture and letting go of things for a few seconds. It's a lot of work for Mom and Dad but I'm sure having fun! Oddly enough I haven't realized I can pull myself up in my crib yet. So for now at least we're all still sleeping well in the Hawley house.

Welcome home from Mexico Grandma and Grandpa Gainsbrook! I can't wait to see you next weekend and show off all my new skills, of which waving is no longer one of them. I waved for two days but find it boring, not going to bother with it anymore. This seems to irritate Mom but so be it.

A whole lot of snow!

Well I didn't get out much this weekend. In fact I don't think many people did. Mom and Dad made it out three times. All three times to shovel. We had a fun weekend playing indoors. I am all about being on my feet these days, and climbing the stairs is my new favorite pastime. Too bad I try and go down them too and I try and do it head first. Oh and I love to eat paper, Kleenex and cat food! Thank goodness for baby gates and doors that close!

Happy Birthday Dad!

This weekend was Dad's 35th Birthday and we had a little get together to celebrate. I slept through most of the get together but judging by how tired Mom and Dad were in the morning I think they had a fun night.
Our family friends Thea and Andre had a baby boy (Lacoste) Saturday night a few weeks early. He is twice as big as I was when I was born and is doing really well. Unfortunatly he will have to stay at CHEO for a bit but hopefully not for long.
Speaking of CHEO I went there today for my follow up appointment with the Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. I have been doing so well they decided not to put me under for a scope. So that was good news. After that appointment I went to meet with the OT team so they could see how I am doing eating solids. The OT was very happy with my eating and assuming things stay how they are I won't need a follow up appointment.
Oh I got another Birthday gift in the mail. This one was from Aunt Jen, Uncle Dustin and family. Check it out!
