Happy Holidays!

I'll have more to report after my trip to Barrie with my family. But for now, here's me and Santa. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

They don't want to see me until I'm 4!

I had my 18 month (corrected) neonatal follow up appointment and CHEO yesterday and it went really well. The nurse and doctor are very pleased with my progress. I am in the 50-75th percentile for height and weight and my head is a much more appropriate size for my body now! I'm hitting all my developmental milestones and they said I don't need to come back until I am 4. Needless to say Mom and Dad were very proud of me. I'm still enrolled in the First Words program but I've become quite a chatterbox. My favorite thing to do is throw things and then ask Mom and Dad 'where'd it go!'. I surprised my nanny Crystal the other day when she asked if I wanted pears with breakfast and I said 'yeah'! I'm looking forward to seeing all my cousins this weekend in Barrie. I hope to get lots of pictures to post next week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a gorgeous weekend to watch football! I spent the whole weekend outside watching Mom and Dad play in the touch football National Championship tournament in Montreal. Thankfully it was gorgeous out. That and there was a super cute girl name Maddie there that I could flirt with!
Dad's a national champion, mom's not! We had fun though. A shout out to Ann and Claira who helped me out when Mom and Dad played at the same time!

A seasoned traveller!

Wow, what a busy summer so far! I have been spending lots of time on the road with Mom and Dad. Two weekends ago we went to Kingston for the weekend for a football tournament. This past weekend we had a family trip to Tremblant and today we spent the day at Thea and Andre's cottage.

I have been having a blast and enjoying the sunshiny days when they come. Mom and Dad brought the Chariot to Tremblant and I road in it while they cycled around for a couple of hours. I took in the beautiful surroundings for a while but eventually fell asleep for a nice long nap.

Today I went swimming in the Ottawa river. It was too cold for the old folks so all I got to do was jump in off the dock. I was loving it but had to stop when Mom got to tired to keep it up. Fortunately Dad got the pins out of his finger this week and hopefully soon he'll be able to participate. We are really looking forward to our weeks vacation at the cottage in July!

This coming weekend we are heading to Barrie for a family BBQ. I am looking forward to seeing Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of the family. Although I have to admit I wish they weren't five hour away!
