Home sweet home!

I'm home from a great trip to Toronto! Mom and I flew and I was really good on the plane. I had a really nice visit with Grandma and Grandpa and had my first overnight without Mom or Dad.
I did all sorts of fun stuff for the first time. I played out on the swing and went down the slide and Grandma took me to the barn to see all the animals. I really liked the bunny rabbits. It was gorgeous weather all weekend. Oh and I undeniably said Ma-ma much to Mom's delight!

Do I look cool?

Of course I do! It's been just gorgeous out and the snow is finally melting. Mom, Dad and I have been going for lots of walks and spending lots of time outside.
Thursday Mom and I are flying to Toronto for the weekend. Mom is leaving me overnight for the first time! Grandma and Grandpa Gainsbrook are looking after me while she goes on a girls shopping trip Saturday.
I had a hearing test at CHEO today and they said I had a small amount of hearing loss. They are pretty sure that it's from the cold that I have and we will check again in September. I also saw my dietitian and she gave me the OK for a dairy challenge. When I get back from Toronto I'm going to try a new formula and if that goes well in about 6 weeks I can try milk.

Go Sens Go!

It's been a rough season but I am cheering for a turn around in the playoffs! My jersey almost fits me this year.

The flu sucks!

I am just getting over what was a very nasty round of the flu, lots of throwing up and other stuff that's not nice to talk about in public. I got sick last Wednesday and started feeling better on Sunday night. Of course Mom managed to stay healthy up until Sunday. Lets just say that Monday was a rough day for Mom. I was pretty much back to normal energy (which is a lot) and Mom had none. Thankfully Dad managed come home from work for a while to help out.
I had my neonatal follow up this week and turns out I'm pretty small. With the two rough sick patches that I've had this winter I've lost some weight. I'm down to the 25th percentile from the 75th for my corrected age. I've been eating lots this week though and I'm sure I'll be packing on the pounds in no time. I'm getting taller too. So looks like instead of short and pudgy I am going to be tall and lean. That's a good thing right? Okay, so I'm not exactly tall. My head is much better proportioned than it used to be though.
The doctors were really happy with my development but think I am a little behind communicating. I've been waving bye-bye to Daddy and kissing Mommy so I'm not sure what else they are looking for. Seems to be enough to make Mom and Dad happy. I have been referred to a speech specialist anyways and we figure we're not going to turn down the help. I am sure I'll be rhyming off the Senators lineup in no time.
I don't have a lot of new photos seeing I wasn't up to much this past week. Here is a photo of me watching a video when I was sick.
